Magnificent! This book is a glorious celebration of innovation. A huge, beautiful, thoughtful, and even poetic examination of Apple’s role in the birth and evolution of modern computing.

Brought one and thought it was a excellent read and lots of history when son came round took it home so had to buy a 2nd as I know he will want to keep mine..

The book is really enjoyable to read, with beautiful pictures, interesting anecdotes and useful technical information.
I recommend this book to the retro Mac users.

High quality pictures in this "solid and heavy" book, with details and curiosities on ICs and other components. I appreciate the photo-book format since Apple products appearance it's the first step of his success. Given its heaviness, the book would have required thicker packaging to better protect the corners.

The book is very well done, and captures the essence of the Macintosh- design, use, innovation- very well. But the packaging was suboptimal, and led to crimped corners on the book. Not a big deal, but noticeable.
