Het Eurorack Stripboard is de handigste manier om een eenvoudige DIY Eurorack synthesizer module te bouwen. Hij werkt als een standaard protoboard, maar met toevoegingen specifiek voor het Eurorack board. U kunt het stripboard ook gebruiken met het 4HP Front Panel.
U kunt maximaal 5 potentiometers of 5 jack-connectors monteren op de daarvoor bestemde posities. De potentiometers kunnen elk van het type 9 of 16 mm zijn, bijvoorbeeld de Alpha PKN160. De jack-connectors betreffen de Cliff S6/BB mono style.
Met de Eurorack voedingsinterface is het uiterst eenvoudig om een 16-pins of een 10-pins Eurorack voedingsconnector aan te sluiten.
De duidelijke en gedetailleerde zeefdruk labels geven aan waar de verschillende spanningen zich bevinden op de printplaat. Ook kunt u 2 afvlakcondensatoren en 2 beveiligingsdiodes toevoegen.
Hoe de jacks en potentiometers aan te sluitenDe jack-connectors zijn van het type Cliff CL1384. Ze gebruiken de stroken A, B, D en E.A en B worden opengeschakeld wanneer er een mail jack-connector wordt ingeplugd. D en E vormen de verbindingen met de mail connector.
E is Tip (het signaal)
en D is Ring (meestal de 0 V referentiespanning, vaak ook aangeduid als ‘aarde’).
Merk op dat de Cliff jacks geïsoleerd van het paneel zijn gemonteerd.De potentiometers zijn 9 mm (2,5 mm as diameter) of 16 mm (5 mm as diameter). Een Alpha 9 mm is een goede keuze. Die sluit mooi aan bij Cliff jacks op het voorpaneel. Ze dienen te worden gemonteerd op de stroken B, C en D.
B is de ‘tegen-de-klok-in’ aansluiting.
D is de ‘met-de-klok-mee’ aansluiting.
en C is dan de aansluiting in het midden.
